Scrollavezza & Zanré

After training at the Parma School of Violin Making, Elisa and Andrea have dedicated themselves to carrying on the tradition established by Renato Scrollavezza in 1975 helping to train future generations of violin makers. In 2002, they founded Scrollavezza&Zanrè, gaining growing international recognition as one of Italy’s leading violin-making workshops, a center active in historical and scientific research and publishing, and a point of reference for musicians and collectors seeking fine antique and 20th-century stringed instruments. Elisa and Andrea have curated exhibitions and given presentations for prestigious international institutions, including the National Gallery of Parma, the Violin Museum, Dextra Musica, VSA, and EILA, of which they are both members.
