Paolo Rizzo

Born in 1992 in San Cesareo di Lecce, at the age of 8 he discovered music playing acoustic guitar, and later he moved onto electric bass and began studying music theory. At 14 he started learning double bass at “Tito Schipa” conservatory in Lecce for five years, while he finished his classical high school studies. The encounter with Barbara Morello marked the beginning of his path in violinmaking. At her advice, he subsequently enrolled at the Parma violin making school “Renato Scrollavezza” taught by Elisa Scrollavezza and Andrea Zanré, graduating in 2021. Immediately after, he moved to Cremona to further develop his skills.
